First of all select a room or space that will be used for this purpose

On the north wall place items that define who you are, like photos of loved ones. (A bookshelf or table will do.)

Items with strong attachments of love, crystals, beeswax or natural vegetable oil candles, statues, figurines and books. On the other walls place pictures, paintings, dream catchers and items of inspiration.

You may wish to have something with which you can play soft music.
Keep electrical appliances to a minimum, and place them as far away from the centre of the room as possible. It is best to keep this area smudged with sage  to remove all negativity.
Incense can be used to create a calming atmosphere. You will require a comfortable yet supportive chair to place in the centre of your portal.

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU HAVE NO INTERRUPTIONS WHILST YOU CREATE
THIS SPACE. TURN OFF ALL PHONES AND CHOOSE A TIME THAT YOU WILL
NOT BE DISTURBED.

SMUDGE THE ROOM
A bundle of sage can be used as is or loose leaf sage can be burnt in a ceramic bowl or as some use an abalone shell.
Light the sage and start blowing on it gently to get it smoldering. Once this is ready, use your hands or as sometimes used a feather to waft the smoke.
Start at the doorway and go from floor to the top of the door and all the way around. Asking the spirit of the sage and whomever you feel comfortable calling upon (Angels, guides) that all negativity be removed.Continue around the room from floor to ceiling covering all surfaces. It is the intent to remove the negativity that is important.

GROUNDING
Grounding is an exercise in connecting your energy to that of Mother Earth. This practice can assist in calming both mind and body, leaving you feeling relaxed and at peace with the World. This exercise is to be done with your feet flat to the floor sitting or standing.

You may wish to have calm, relaxing music playing softly. Close your eyes and concentrate on breathing deeply.

Feel your body relaxing, start with your toes and feet, feel your legs relax and work up to your body. Your hips, your stomach, your chest and now from your fingers along your arms. You feel your spine relax and your neck, now for your face and head.
Bring your concentration back to your centre, you are now centered and relaxed. Now sense the energy beneath your feet, imagine tiny roots growing from your feet and toes. The roots wiggle their way through the floor down into the Earth below. Winding their way around rocks and crystals, going deeper and deeper towards the crystalline centre of Mother Earth.
Speak to Mother Earth, "dearest Mother we have sent forth our roots, down through what is, what was, and what will be. We ask to anchor our energy to your crystalline centre, grounding our energy to yours." Ask of Mother Earth to release to her any toxins, negativity anything that is not serving your highest and greatest good. Ask her to receive and recycle these energies and use then for good on Earth and thank her.


HONOURING THE DIRECTIONS
Stand facing East and honour the East by raising  your hands palms out in tribute. "East I honour thee, glorious east of the rising sun and full moon, the new day, dawn, the season of spring, the element of air, Archangel Raphael and Eastern wisdom."Next turn clockwise one quarter turn and face South honour the South and her warm breezes, the season of summer, the element of fire, tropical rain forests, Archangel Michael and southern wisdom." Continue on clockwise one quarter turn to the West  "West I honour thee for the cleansing rains and purifying snows, the season of fall and the element of water, western wisdom, Archangel Gabriel and days end. Then North " North I honour thee for the winter winds land of frozen pure water, the northern forests which are the earths lungs, the element of Earth, midnight, Archangel Uriel and northern wisdom. These tributes to all directions can be those that feel right to you and your beliefs.
 
Now raise your hands above your head and honour the Creator, the Source, the Force, Father, God whichever feels comfortable to you. "Thank you for all that you are, thank you for your unconditional love, thank you for allowing me to be at this time on this glorious planet, thank you for the gifts and abilities that have been bestowed upon me." Picture a column of pure golden white light coming down and flowing over and through your body going all the way down to the centre of Mother Earth. Then point your hands to the floor honouring Mother Earth, Mother God, Gaia or whatever term you would like for the Earth Mother. "Thank you for all that you are, thank you for your wondrous recycling of the air that we breath and the very water of which we are made, of which we drink and in which we bathe. Thank you for the diversity of life upon this magnificent planet and all that you provide.  Now bring your attention to your centre and honour yourself the co-creator that you are, feel the love from Mother and the Creator growing within you.


CONNECTING TO THE CRYSTAL GRID
At this time you are ready to connect to the matrix and the crystal grid. This is best done sitting in the middle of your room in a comfortable chair or if you prefer in the lotus position "I call upon all that are here for my highest and greatest good and the highest and greatest good of all. Thank you for your guidance, your wisdom, your love and your protection. Them proclaim " I am a powerful Divine being of love and light, I am an antennae, a beacon, a receiver and a transmitter, I am an anchor of the love and light." Now picture yourself as a huge crystal and say "I am of the crystal grid, sense all of the other crystals that surround you in this matrix. Feel the web of connectivness among the mass consciousness reaching out in all directions, you are now a part of the one.  Now it is time to share the love that you feel within, now as a whole state "We send forth love, peace, harmony, joy, happiness, tolerance, understanding, gratitude, laughter to all. We send forth healing for all of those who are open to receive.



READY TO RECEIVE MESSAGES
You are now connected to the mass consciousness and in your own inter-dimensional portal, sacred space and ready to receive clear messages that are for the highest and greatest good of all. Sit quietly and record all that comes to you do not worry if it does not make sense at this time. When you read it back at a later date you will probably get more of an understanding of the message.
